Celebrate National Fossil Week with the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History!
Join your friends at the Museum as we put the “pal” in paleontology with a free festival featuring fossils! Meet geologists, paleontologists, naturalists, and artists for an afternoon of family-friendly fun, activity stations, fossil interactives, and so much more.
Featured programs throughout the day include a fossil identification station, our Saturdays in the Soil garden program, a Rockin’ Pop Up meet-and-greet with geologists, and hands-on fossil kits. So, make sure to bring any mystery fossils and rocks from home for identification!
