Discover the intersection of art and science in this elevated, hands-on illustration workshop!

Enjoy a glass of wine as you work directly from real subjects, blending natural history and art into a unique creative experience. You’ll learn the fundamentals of observational drawing from professional scientific illustrator, Cady Delay, while using charcoal and graphite, to play with composition, shadow, light, layering techniques, and mixed media. Whether you’re a practiced artist or curious beginner, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for both natural history and the art of illustration. 

Participants will have a completed art piece to take home at the conclusion of the workshop. Open to ages 21+/all experience levels. All supplies included.

Class Fee: $43 – All art supplies and wine are included in the class fee. Museum Members receive a special discounted price applied at checkout.

FYI: This class takes place indoors. Supplies may get messy; wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
