Fire Ecology of Redwoods

Jumbo July is off to a blazing start, as we learn the science behind redwood trees fireproof capabilities. This hot topic will showcase the unique adaptations of redwood trees, how wildfires transform forest ecology, and how the ecosystems are able to bounce back.

Class Size: 60 participants
Materials: Light refreshments will be served prior to the start of the program. After the lecture, there will be an audience engagement game.
