Little World of Lichen Walk

February 14 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Event Series: Fungus February

Lichens are all around, yet seldom understood. Join us for an introductory walk where we will look closely at a variety of lichen species and learn to better understand their unique qualities.

The walk will be led by Ken Kellman, a member of the California Lichen Society and volunteer curator of lichens and bryophytes at the herbarium in the Kenneth Norris Center for Natural History at UCSC.

Class Fee: $25 | $5 Off for Museum Members
Capacity: 20 people
Ages: Open to ages 7+. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.
Accessibility: Walk will span less than a mile and include lots of stops for lichen observation.
