Lichens are all around, yet seldom understood. Join us for an introductory walk where we will look closely at a variety of lichen species and learn to better understand their unique qualities.
The walk will be led by Ken Kellman, a member of the California Lichen Society and volunteer curator of lichens and bryophytes at the herbarium in the Kenneth Norris Center for Natural History at UCSC. Open to ages 7+. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration will open January 14, 2026, for Museum Members.
Remaining tickets will be available January 15, 2026, for the General Public.
