Earth Stewards Project
For HighschoolersThe Earth Stewards Project (ESP) connects high school students with meaningful, hands-on environmental learning experiences through weekly outdoor stewardship projects that promote STEM learning, environmental awareness, and career-building skills. Partnering with local agencies, students restore habitats, maintain trails, and improve green spaces. Through their work, Earth Stewards make a tangible impact on the environment and their community—gaining confidence, skills, and a deeper connection to nature along the way.
These programs are funded by the Outdoor Equity Grants Program, created through AB 209 and administered by California State Parks, Office of Grants and Local Services.
