Join us for an evening exploration of astronomical archives, from expanded stories of objects on exhibit in Out of this World to a curated dive into the archives of the Lick Observatory from UCSC Special Collections & Archives.
The UCSC Lick Observatory Records feature astrophotography, papers, and artifacts recording the history of Lick Observatory from the 1870s to mid-twentieth century. Members will have the unique opportunity of viewing these archives alongside the Lick Observatory artifacts and equipment featured in the Museum’s “Out of this World” exhibit closing November 17th.
