Explore the region’s diverse plant, animal, and human communities from the shoreline of Monterey Bay to the summit of the Santa Cruz Mountains with your group.
A reservation is required for all groups of 10 or more people. By scheduling your group in advance, you guarantee adequate time and space for your group as well as other visitors to the Museum. At this time groups may only book self-guided visits though staff are happy to provide an introduction to the Museum and answer questions.

Scheduling a Group Visit
| DATES | Tuesday-Sunday. Excluding major holidays. Special requests may be made for Mondays. |
| TIMES | Group visits are generally available between 12:30-4pm Tues-Fri, or anytime during open hours Sat-Sun (10-5). *Earlier visits may be available upon request. Please email education@santacruzmuseum.org if you have a special request. |
| DURATION | 1 Hour |
| GROUPS | 35 individuals maximum. Youth groups are a group of 10 or more individuals affiliated with a K-12 class: preschools, home school groups, boy/girl scouts. Adult groups include college classes, adult/senior groups, personal, or family groups. |
| CHAPERONES | For youth groups, the adult:student minimum ratio is Pre K (1:5); grades 3-5 (1:6); middle school (1:8); high school (1:10) |
