DESCRIPTION:The Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History is thrilled to be partnering with the UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute as they open the vault to bring you a month of intriguing science mysteries and behind-the-scenes research! This Genome June lecture will be a roaring good time as we uncover the mysteries of prehistoric mammals! From ancient killers to contemporary carnivores\, join paleogenomic scientists as we explore their past and learn what ancient DNA reveals about guiding conservation. \nREGISTER\nClass Size: 60 participants\nClass Fee: $11 – Museum Members receive a special discounted price applied at checkout.\nMaterials: Light refreshments will be served prior to the start of the program. After the lecture\, there will be an audience engagement game.\nFYI: This class takes place indoors.
