Participants will choose from a selection of 3D printed salamander and herp models and paint their own scientifically inspired creation using acrylic paints. Hannah will guide the process while sharing fun facts about herps\, their biology\, and why these smooth and scaly creatures are vital to healthy ecosystems. No prior art experience is needed. Each ticket includes a 3D model to paint and take home; all materials\, expert instruction\, and wine/beer included. \nThis program is FULL. In addition to being a poet\, Olander is the editor and publisher at Perugia Press\, a press dedicated to publishing first and second books by women poets. \nOlander will be joined by Santa Cruz poet Lisa Allen Ortiz and former Los Angeles Poet Laureate Lynne Thompson both of whom had first books published by Perugia Press.
