The Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History seeks dynamic leaders ready to inspire and connect our community with nature. We’re opening board recruitment and need your passion, innovation, and dedication to supporting the Museum as we grow. If you are interested in potentially joining our board, please read more below and we encourage you to fill out the interest form linked here.
What We’re Looking For
- Commitment to our mission
- Strategic leadership, governance, and financial experience
- Ambassadors for fundraising and community engagement
- Dedication of 4-12 hours per month
Board Member Commitment
- Three-year term, renewable up to three times
- Ten Monthly board meetings (with breaks in December and July) and monthly committee work
As a board member, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work alongside other passionate individuals who are dedicated to bringing the wonders of natural history and education to the public. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the future direction of the Museum, ensuring that it remains a vital resource for education and community engagement.
