The Amah Mutsun tribal band continues the legacy of the Ohlone culture on the Central Coast. To continue to develop the presence of Amah, or “The People” of Santa Cruz, the Museum presents the Amah Mutsun: Then and Now series in collaboration with local Tribal Band leaders and Native American scholars. This series of programs is aimed toward amplifying the voices and history of the native peoples of our community.
The 2018 Amah Mutsun: Then and Now program series is supported by California Humanities, a non-profit partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Visit www.calhum.org.
