9/6 First Friday After Hours | Food, Farming, & Fun

Get to know Santa Cruz’s WILD SIDE at the Museum of Natural History. Nerd out on your night out during monthly after hours events, featuring rotating themes, vendors, and activities. Free admission to the Museum all day 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with special outdoor festivities 5-8 p.m.


Hungry for knowledge and fine dining? September’s First Friday serves up a smörgåsbord of flavors provided by local culinary partners. Celebrate the Fall Harvest by learning from South County farmers about the steps taken to provide fresh, local, and sustainable food. From composting and recycling to food trucks and community kitchens, foodies of all levels will be in for a treat! In addition to the festivities in the park, explore the Museum and enjoy FREE admission.
