Launched in 2009 by the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Seafood Watch helps individuals and businesses make sustainable choices. From improvements in fishing technology that result in less bycatch (unwanted and discarded harvest) to tools for individuals ordering food at restaurants, this program has created a movement of environmentally sustainable practices to meet the growing demand for seafood today while preserving our ocean resources for tomorrow.
