10/4 First Friday After Hours | Out of this World!

Countdown to blast off as the Museum rockets towards the opening of the new Fall 2024 Exhibit! October’s First Friday offers a stellar mix of interplanetary enthusiasts showcasing their sci-fi technology and their research to discover the edge of infinity. From astrophotographers to astronomy experts, you don’t want to miss an evening that’s sure to be out of this world! 

In addition to the outside festivities, make sure to visit the inside of the Museum as we unveil the newest exhibit, Out of this World: Looking to the Stars. There will also be information on the upcoming lectures lined up for the Naturalist Night series, and more details about our annual Halloween party: Museum of the Macabre.

About First Fridays

Get to know Santa Cruz’s WILD SIDE at the Museum of Natural History. Nerd out on your night out during monthly after hours events, featuring rotating themes, vendors, and activities. Free admission to the Museum all day 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with special outdoor festivities 5-8 p.m.
