We offer an interesting and enriching experience for all ages, talents and skill levels. Welcome visitors and help in the Museum store.
Interests & Skills: Greeting, informal interpretation, secretarial
Time Commitment: 1 year of service, 2-4 hours per month (plus initial training)
Provide informal interpretation of artifacts in the Museum and local geology and ecology outside.
Interests & Skills: Greeting, informal interpretation, education, outreach, nature, history
Availability: Saturdays, 1st Friday of every month
Time Commitment: 6 months of service, 2-4 hours per month (plus initial training)
Help maintain the Museum’s demonstration gardens and pollinator gardens.
Interests & Skills: Gardening, botany, horticulture, biology, plant and pollinator interactions
Availability: 3rd Thursday of the Month, 11am-12:30
Time Commitment: 1 hour per month or more
Offer help in a variety of ways, or be on-call for specific tasks.
Interests & Skills: Physical labor, construction, animal care, data entry, event help, tidepooling, creative projects, and more…
Availability: Weekdays and occasional weekends
Time Commitment: One-time commitment, variable
